Use Find My Venue on the homepage to chat with our assistant, or browse the full list and tap "Enquire" on whatever catches your eye. Either way you'll fill in a short form with your date, guest count and a few details about what you're after.

You don't need to know everything. A rough date and a rough vibe is enough to get going. We figure the rest out together.

We reply the same business day.

Within 60 seconds of you sending the enquiry, you'll get an automatic confirmation in your inbox so you know we've got it. Then a real human on our side will speak to the venue, check availability, and get back to you with a full quote.

That reply comes the same business day, every time. Enquiries sent before 4pm get a real response that day. Anything after that, or over the weekend, gets answered first thing the next morning.

Pay the deposit, lock it in.

Once the quote feels right, you pay the venue's deposit through us. We send you a secure payment link and the venue holds your date the moment it goes through.

The rest of the venue cost is paid directly to the venue, usually a week or two before the night itself. Each venue has its own deposit amount and cancellation policy, which you'll see clearly on the venue's page before paying anything.

Show up. Enjoy your night.

A few days before the event we send you the full address, any access details, and the venue's contact in case anything comes up on the night. After that, your only job is to turn up and remember your friends' birthdays better than you would have otherwise.

The day after, we'll drop you a short message asking how it went. Not a long survey, just a check-in. If anything went sideways, we want to know.

Each venue sets its own cancellation policy and you'll find it on every listing. Read it before you pay. One thing we'll always promise on top: if a venue ever cancels on you, we'll help you find a replacement before your date.

to the usual questions.

Is Dura really free for me?

Yes. You pay the venue's price, nothing more. No booking fees, no service charges, no surprises at checkout. We earn a small commission from the venue when you book, which is invisible to you and never added to your bill.

How many venues do you have?

We launched with around ten venues, which is on purpose. We'd rather have ten places we'd send our own friends to than a thousand we've never visited. New venues are added every few weeks, and you can use Find My Venue any time to see what's currently on Dura.

What if my date is really soon?

Send the enquiry and we'll do our best. We've turned things around in 48 hours before, but we can't promise it for every venue. The bigger or more popular the venue, the more notice they tend to need. If a date is genuinely tight, write to us first and we'll be honest about what's realistic.

Can I change my mind once I've paid the deposit?

Each venue sets its own cancellation policy. You'll find that policy clearly on every venue page before you pay anything. Read it carefully. If the venue cancels on you, we'll help you find a replacement.

How does Find My Venue work?

It's a chat assistant that helps narrow down venues from our curated list. Your conversation might be powered by automation or a partner tool — either way we only ever recommend real venues on Dura. After that, a human picks up your enquiry the same business day with availability and a quote.

Can I list my venue on Dura?

Yes. We're looking for our next venues right now. Head to List Your Venue for the details. Our first 10 venues get a permanent Founding Venue rate.
